Help those waiting or who have received a life-saving organ transplant. Our goal is to assist with the many trips to clinic doctor appointments.
Gas cards distributed via the Richard DeVos Heart and Lung Transplant Center in Grand Rapids help with this goal. We would like to add other transplant centers to help more people!!!

The Story Behind the Gas Cards
At the age of 33, after waiting four years, I received a double lung transplant at Loyola University in Chicago. I lived in West Michigan, and the many trips to Chicago were costly in gas and overnight stays.
For my 20th transplant anniversary, I started a non profit, Live On, to help others who have to travel far or need assistance with travel expenses. And the Gas Card Program was born. With our previous fundraisers, we were able to purchase 66 gas cards at $75 each. I would LOVE to be able to purchase 100 gas cards at $75 each and expand to other transplant centers around West Michigan!!! Let's make this 25th Transplant Anniversary and Fundraiser a BIG ONE!!!!
